Martin Creed’s national Olympic art event involves thousands of people across the UK to get their ring on. Not Beyoncé-style though, we’re talking real ringing bells…
The Turner Prize winning artist talks about the project, ‘All The Bells’ in a video produced and recently released by the Vinyl Factory in Soho, London. The longer title of the project, ”Work No. 1197: All The Bells in a country rung as quickly and as loud as possible for three minutes” in tribute to the 2012 Olympic Games, explains exactly what is going to happen at 8:12am tomorrow morning.
A hand-painted limited edition of his album, ‘Love To You’ has also been released by the Vinyl Factory.
