‘Floating Point’ by UVA for Nike’s Flyknit project
United Visual Artists performance-based installation below, marked the launch of, and was inspired by Nike’s recent project Flyknit Collective, which will see a selection of handpicked artists unveil a series of art installations, projects and events all over the globe.
Shot in East London’s Aske Gardens with Alexandros Pissourios behind the camera, the installation paid homage to the technological aspects involved in the Flyknit project, using its ideas of performance and lightness to create an stunning, public installation made up of three audio-visually integrated trampolines, each triggering different sounds and lights. Trampolines never looked so cool…
