Frieze Masters? Try ‘Urban Masters’

Nick Walker's famous vandal

9th – 18th November 2012

Frieze Masters was a big deal during art fair week (we’re calling it ‘art fair week’ because let’s face it, it’s no longer just about Freize anymore, is it?) but the urban art scene is offering its own version of the superior, and bringing urban art lovers, ‘Urban Masters.’ Hosted by Opera Gallery, the works of 33 major artists on the scene, including Shepard Fairey, ROA, Blek le rat, The London Police, Ron English and Nick Walker will be on display and better still, further incentive to visit the show comes by way of the proceeds made from all catalogue sales going to Anti-Slavery International.

The show is a chance for these artists to pay homage to artists before them, their muses and their heroes. Some of the artists will be signing works, and there will be free poster giveaways, as well as a book signing on 9th November 2012.
