Motion sensors mesh with ‘Ultraviolet Light Web’
Artist, Djeff created ‘Ultraviolet Light Web’ for the Fondation Vasarely in Provence, France last month. Challenging the viewer’s perception and playing with his or her understanding of the space and light around them, Djeff’s work consists of threads of light that join at a nexus point and create a neon UV environment which interacts with the viewer via motion sensors.
Manipulating what we perceive and giving us the ability to control movement in these art forms is perhaps the foremost intention for interactive artists and designers right now… once we ‘get it’ who knows what they’ll challenge in us next.
