New read: ‘Stencil Republic’ by OllyStudio
Celebrating the art of stencilling, ‘Stencil Republic’ by Ollystudio features 20 stencils by 20 artists, which can be cut out and used – go on, make an artist of yourself! The creators of the stencils vary from some of the old masters to the new gen of stencil makers and street artists. Along with each stencil is a photograph of the artist and a short interview, where they explain how to use their stencil, along with other images of their work. If you’re not in any way creative, then this unique book will surely double up as great coffee table material to treasure and show visitors.
Features include an introduction by Aiko, an extended interview by Stencil King and interviews and stencil techniques with Vhils, Dan Innes, Run Don’t Walk and OpticaNoodles to name but a few. You’ll just have to buy the book to find out the rest…
