See No Evil festival, Bristol. Vhils, Nick Walker, Anti-VJ + more.
16th – 19th August 2012.
It’s rare you get a chance to see live street art by the likes of Nick Walker at the same festival as interactive art by the likes of Anti VJ, so take note:
As part of the Cultural Olympiad for the London Olympics, the See No Evil festival will once again take creative hold over Bristol this summer. Thirty street artists will paint Nelson Street, including Vhils, Nick Walker, Remi Rough, Eine and Lyken, with the projects curated by Bristol favourite, Inkie.
Accompanying the art will be a music event, Hear No Evil, a New York style Block Party which will take place on 18th and 19th August. But the highlight is surely the Anti VJ interactive installation, which you can experience at the Passenger Shed in Temple Meads on 17th August. The free ticketed event will also feature Adrian Utley from Portishead and Will Gregory from Goldfrapp.
Not a bad line-up at all, eh.
