Stroke Urban Art Fair 2012, Berlin
13th – 16th September 2012.
Actually Stroke, in Berlin and earlier this year in Munich, isn’t just about what’s urban or ‘street’ in art – which most presume is something to do with a spray can or street art. Alongside this, two other strands - photography and digital will also make an appearance. Both of these are bringing forth a plethora of new ideas by the next generation of artists, making Stroke an important player in the alternative art fair scene.
Stroke also comes under the bracket of art fairs that reject the ‘inflated classical art market of the rich and beautiful,’ – and we love an art fair that focuses more on the talent and less on the market.
Highlights include live sprays and workshops for visitors, where they can get their own hands dirty.
