‘Walk the Light’ (whilst listening to ‘Walk the Line’?)
Installation – experienceable throughout the London Design Festival at the V&A
Talk – 17th September 2012
Throughout the London Design Festival, you can Walk the Light – a specially commissioned interactive installation that award-winning lighting and interactive designers Cinimod Studios have created in the tunnel that leads from the tube station to the V&A. As you walk along the tunnel, the light follows you, your presence activating it and its movement – cool eh?
We think it would make it extra fun if you listened to Walk the Line by Jonny Cash as you ‘Walk the Light’ – hey why not even bring a guitar with you and get someone to film you? If you do, send to us and we will post the best ones on Beautiful Crime.
You can catch Cinimod Studios‘ Dominic Harris and Rowena Preiss from Philips Lighting talking about the installation and the design potential that LED lighting has on 17th September at 1pm in the Hochhauser Auditorium, Sackler Centre.
